Privacy policy.
What we collect when you ask for a quote or swatches, why, who sees it and how long we keep it.
This policy is for the website at https://furniture.phoenixcodes.org. The controller is Tessel Meubel B.V., Houtwerf 12, 1013 ZK Amsterdam, the Netherlands. You can reach us at hello@furniture.phoenixcodes.org.
What we collect
- When you request a quote: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, delivery country and postcode, any notes you write, and the design you chose.
- When you order swatches: your name, email address, postal address and the fabrics you chose.
- To stop abuse: a scrambled version of your network address. It is made with a secret key and cannot be turned back into your address. We use it to limit each person to five submissions an hour.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics scripts or tracking pixels. The website sets no cookies. It keeps nothing about you in your browser except, if you choose a fabric on the fabrics page, the choice itself while the page is open.
Why we use it
We use the quote details to reply with a price and to check whether your stairs and doors will work. We use the swatch details to post the swatches. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on each form, and, once you become a customer, the contract we make with you.
Who sees it
The people at Tessel who answer quotes and post swatches. Our database is hosted in the United States by Neon, and the website runs on Cloudflare. Both act for us under data processing terms. A courier receives your name, address and phone number when we deliver, and nobody else does.
How long we keep it
Quote and swatch requests are deleted automatically after 30 days. If you become a customer, we keep your order records for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it or stop using it, and you can take back your consent at any time. Email us and we will answer within one month. If you are not happy with the answer you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If we change this policy we change the date below, and we say what changed at the top of this page.
