Accessibility statement.

Our aim

We want everyone to be able to browse, configure and order from Tessel. This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we did

• Every page has one main heading, landmarks, and a link at the top to skip to the content.
• Everything can be used with a keyboard, including the configurator and the 3D view. Focus a 3D view, then the arrow keys turn it, plus and minus zoom, and 0 resets it. Buttons for the same actions sit next to it.
• Text and controls meet the contrast ratios of level AA. Focus is always visible.
• Forms have labels, hints and error messages that are tied to their fields and announced by screen readers.
• Motion respects the reduced-motion setting of your device. With it on, the hero sofa does not turn on its own and the module diagram shows its last picture.
• The 3D view always has a picture and a written description, and the whole site works without it.

How we tested

Every page is scanned with the axe accessibility engine in an automated test on each release, and there are no serious or critical findings. We also tested by hand with a keyboard alone and at a width of 360 pixels, with text enlarged to 200 percent.

Known gaps

• The 3D view cannot be heard or described in full by a screen reader. The written description and the price breakdown carry the same information.
• The augmented reality view depends on your phone and your phone's own accessibility features. If it does not work for you, email us and we will send photographs of the design in your room.
• Fabric photographs show the weave, not the exact colour. We describe each colour in words and post free swatches.
